A discussion, in this context, means to talk about what you know or found about the project. It shows the teacher your understanding, and how you came to that understanding. Supply references - like web links, books, papers and so on - how you got the information. Look at wikipedia and you will see the form of discussion. It often starts out with a concise (short) definition, some history about how it developed, details, points of interest, perhaps mathematical explanation, some point made or argued, maybe a few interesting or explanatory pictures. See the first link. Discussion is also a method in debating. You will make a point about the subject, then argue its case. In thinking, analysis is generalising. It is important to not just copy things as complete discussions, but to make your own reasoning, showing how you and why you came up with it. Shows deductive reasoning, meaning you can figure things out for yourself. Might also use analysis. Yes you will be wrong now and then. If you make a statement, check it out and reference it. When you are about 500 years old maybe you will not make mistakes {:-).
