Zimri's formalization wouldn't align the interests of the progressives better with the interests of the entire state. I am almost sure that that is not even possible considering how many progressives there are.Besides, all the current UR proposals to reboot the country seem to include removing all progressives from positions of power and destroying the universities. That doesn't seem like formalization to me.
